TLC Show To Feature 'Pageant Prince'
While it's great Brock's parents are so supportive of their son tap, and his presence on the show will open people's eyes to bullying based on perceived sexuality - Brock's mother says he has been selected on because he was in kindergarten - I find the whole concept of this show - grooming children to become stars of beauty - to be completely problematic and a little farm.But again, it was Brock's decision to enter the business, and if it makes him happy, it's wonderful! I am, in a word, conflicted.
What is your opinion on this, readers: is mounted to the glory of Brock a blessing or a curse? If children, male or female, be enrolled in beauty pageants?

These things come down to parents, is not it? Some parents treat their child like a chihuahua in a dress, others are responsible for solidarity. With the right support system, children with the desire to run and fulfill their own potential to have a wonderful life. Brock is probably running, based on statistics, but who cares? They are the parents resolve conflicts, IMO.
